My sister and I are looking for two rooms, anywhere East that is relatively close to shops, transport links and a green space. We love the Walthamstow/St James Street/Blackhorse Road area at the moment. We actually have a flat til the 15th of July, but are happy to move earlier if the right place comes up.
I work as a Content Manager at a digital agency and do illustration, media management for a spoken word organisation, photography and writing, and my sister is a full time author-illustrator working on children's picture books and various other illustration projects.
We're hoping to live in a place with a friendly, community feel about it. We are both London born and raised, but have between us lived in quite a few corners of the globe and have experience in lots of different flatshares. We're both easy going, creative and sociable, love the outdoors and going for long walks, as well as finding good places to dance in the evenings! We're just as happy socialising with the people we live with (sharing a meal or glass of wine, going out, watching a film) as we are staying in and working quietly on creative projects. In terms of rooms and flats we'd ideally like rooms with lots of light, and preferably double beds, but we'll consider other options if the flat, area and flatmates are great.
