Hello,
Due to unexpected cirumstances, we have found that one of our household family is moving on, leaving us in the precarious situation of hurridly finding a replacement.
The property is a very spacious victorian house with high ceilings and bay windows overlooking Victoria park with fantastic views and backed by a canal. It is a very green and quiet area (it almost doesn't feel like London), with very easy access to central London, and just a hop skip and a jump from Brick Lane, Broadway Market, Shoreditch... On the other side of the park we have Victoria Village with it's gastro pubs and the like. Mile End and Bethnal Green underground stations are a short 10 minute walk away, and busses 8, N8, 277, N277, 425, D6 are all a step outside. We have all the stuff you would expect to find in a house, and there is a space for bikes. The map on the right is slightly wrong, we are on the other side of the canal directly by the park.
The remaining housemates are a pair of respectful, friendly and cool male creative professionals (who generally don't like tags such as these) of 25 and 27, an animator and a film director respectively. We enjoy the odd dinner and/or bottle of wine, and go out together from time to time, but we also each have our own lives to get on with and respect each others privacy.
Ideally it would be nice to have a female move in to rebalance the house, though with short time frames we're mainly just looking for someone who we feel would fit in and be happy here. I'm afraid to say that we aren't looking to let the room to a couple.
We believe that it is a beautiful house and location and are sure that you will agree. The house is more of a space for something to be done with than a final product so it would be nice if you enjoy throwing the odd picture on the walls...
The room for rent is very large, with 2 windows (including a bay window) overlooking Victoria park (it's all you can see). Rent is £540pcm not including bills - which are about the same as they would be in any house.
The room is available on the 1st April, with (unfortunately) agency fees of £120 (credit check) and contract fees. The deposit will be 1 months rent. We are flexible with when the person moves in as well, since the room is empty at the moment. If this all sounds relatively interesting to you please send me an email with a little about yourself, and I will be in touch! We'd appreciate swift replies and the early bird gets the worm or something, as time is very much of the essence here.
Thanks for reading and happy hunting,
Alexander.
Sorry, the room is no longer available
