After 2yrs in this amazing flat, I'm moving out for a change of scenery to north of the river.
About the flat
It is a large 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment in a secure, fairly new block with a spare carpark.
The apartment has:
* hallway with storage cupboard
* a large living area with lounge (x2 couches, coffee table & TV with Sky) and dining (dining table & 4 chairs so ample room for dinner parties!)
* separate kitchen off the living area with microwave, loads of cupboard space, dishwasher & washing machine with dryer function
* a large balcony area with bbq, table & chairs
* plus well insulated so no need for the winter layers inside!
About the room
The room is a good size double, furnished with a double bed, bedside table, chest of drawers and wardrobe. The apartment isn't on the main road side so the room is nice and quiet. The larger room (Amanda's) has an ensuite so the main bathroom off the hall is just used by this room - basically your own bathroom!
The area
The apartment is situated between Wimbledon (train/District Line tube) station and South Wimbledon (Northern Line), and bus stops closeby so great links into central London and south-west.
There are a range of supermarkets close by - Tesco, Sainsburys, Morrisons, M&S and Waitrose - and shopping mall with some other 'staples' as well.
Wimbledon Village is about a 15mins walk with nice cafes/restaurants/pubs and there are others along the Broadway (main road between Wimbledon station and the apartment).
The other flatmate
You'd be sharing with one 30yr old professional female, working in marketing. She's tidy, considerate, warm, a bit of a movie buff, up for a laugh and loves a good glass of wine. She's looking for a professional (male or female), between 28-35yrs.
The finances
The rent is £700 per month excluding share of the bills. Move in date is flexible although ideally end of May/early June. 6 weeks deposit of £623. 86 required with 1 months rent paid in advance, and reference check of £120.
The monthly bills work out to be approx:
Council Tax £100; TV licence £6; Broadband & Sky £16. 25; Gas & electricity £17
