The room is in a detached house with walled garden within earshot of the sea and 7 minutes walk from town. We have a cleaner coming in weekly to help with housework. There are two computers with broadband internet, which you are welcome to use, and wi-fi too.

Our family includes an eight year old girl, a six year old boy, a three year old girl and a baby who will be one in March. We are generaly sociable and will enjoy hearing your stories. We also have another spare bedroom in case you would like to invite a friend up for a short holiday.

We could even cook you meals by arrangement.
Council tax and bills are included.
For couples, the rent is £60pw each and for short term let, please contact us for a rate. There is plenty of room in the loft and garage for storage if you have lots of things.

Travel: Montrose is situated half way between Dundee and Aberdeen, it takes less than ten minutes to walk to Montrose train station from our house and then trains regularly go to Dundee and Aberdeen and take about 35 minutes to get to Dundee or 40 minutes to get to Aberdeen. To get to the A92 takes about ten to fifteen minutes by car going through Brechin, and travelling from Montrose by car to Aberdeen or Dundee takes about fifty five minutes.

Cycling
The 'A1 bicycle route' goes past the end of our street and runs into beautiful countryside to the North of Montrose. Montrose itself is well served by bicycle routes, and is generally a very pedestrian and cycle friendly town, the train station has a bicyle shed for example. Bicycles can be stored in our securely locked garage and we have a full set of bicycle tools and know how to use them.
