Beautiful large room in spacious house inc. bills

I have a very spacious room for rent on the first floor of my lovely Edwardian house in Upper Knowle on the very peaceful and lovely Somerset Road.

It's a big, light room (4. 7m x 4. 3m) with double glazed double bay window and side window, freshly decorated, and furnished with an iron frame double bed with luxury mattress, vintage desk & chair, 2 large chest2 of drawers, clothes rail and under bed storage, as well as loft above. Also a vintage velvet chaise longue (a bit shabby chic) occasional tables and standard lamp - all very tasteful. Large cast iron radiator and original fireplace (non usable, but very pretty) Very quiet and light, though also with blackout velvet curtains and balckout blinds for dark and privacy - a really nice chilled space. Small bolt indoes door again to ensure privacy.

Somerset Road borders the beautiful Victorian cemetery of Arnos Vale, with good local shops (including very local corner shop), post office, bank, parks, bars, cafés, Co-op, Tesco Express, bakers etc. Excellent bus access - bus stops at the end of the road, very regular buses into and out of town - and Dott scooter/bike parks and within walking distance of Bristol Temple Meads train station. Local on-street parking is unrestricted and usually very easy - often right outside the door. There are no through routes for cars so traffic is purely residents, and the road is extremely quiet, and a safe, friendly community.

The house has been converted to be quite open plan, and feels much bigger inside than you'd think from the outside. There's a recently fitted, well appointed and equipped double kitchen and breakfast room with gas hob, electric double oven, dishwasher, washing machine etc, breakfast room with lovely French oak kitchen table and benches, and full sized triple bifold doors to a lovely little south facing, sunny, private garden with outside dining space. Large table on the patio, garden pond, pebble and paved sunny space with outdoor seating, lounger, and even a pizza oven!

Very spacious open plan 25' lounge/dining room with large sofa, lovely open fire and dining table, projector and screen and excellent stereo for proper home cinema, as well as piano and a couple of other instruments dotted about (I am a sound artist and musician amongst other things). Wifi fibre broadband, central heating with on-demand hot water form recently installed high capacity boiler with remote thermostat.

I'm a keen cook (not vegetarian, but flexitarian and veggie/vegan-friendly) and the kitchen is clean, well stocked and very well equipped. All in all the house is in excellent decorative order and kept clean and tidy.

I work from home mostly, so I like to keep the place nice. I'm out and about pretty often too though, and I go to quite a few interesting cultural events. Sometimes have friends round for dinner, movie, tea, cake and hanging out, and sociable, chilled and good fun is how I hope my friends would describe me. I'm a grown-up and considerate housemate too - clean bath, toilet seats left down, that kind of thing.

Small, friendly, quiet and extremely cute black cat also resident.

Ideally I'd like to share with someone sociable but not party-animal, tidy, who has their own life in Bristol too, as that's kind of where I'm at. Female housemate preferred for balance, and that is what has worked best in the past - musicians and artists especially welcome but not a requirement at all.
