Light Cosy Double Room Available
Hello :)
I have a medium size double room available in my house in the Redfield/ Barton Hill area. It's newly decorated and comes unfurnished (has a double bed; we could work something out if this is an issue). Southern facing room so gets lovely sunlight and a nice sky view. Pictures dont really do it justice.****Available from the 17th October***
The area itself is quite up and coming- its a five minute walk to Church Road which has good local amenities and a friendly vibe.
Its a ten minute walk to Easton and Old Market and just over a ten minute walk to Temple Mead Train Station- very handy if you commute! The local severn beach line at Lawrence Hill is two minutes away too- and that's great if you want to get up to Clifton with ease. Good bus routes too. The street is pretty quiet and I've had no problems living here. On street parking but I can always find a space.
I'm looking for a FEMALE, someone who is over 24, tidy (and willing to contribute to the cleaning), considerate and likes cats- I have one very friendly, placid moggie! Sorry but no other pets allowed. You must be employed and working regular hours. Also if you're in any way right wing/ ukip then this is not the place for you. I'm a corbynista and proud!
No meat eaters- Pescatarian/ Vegetarian only and keen to recycle! I dont have a TV but will watch lovefilms on my laptop.
I'm 32, female, work in the NHS with quite early starts and a busy lifestyle- gym, yoga, dance, walking etc. However I am sociable and would like to share the odd meal/ pints down' pub. I really value my privacy and quiet time so ideally you have left your rave days behind you.. although I do like to party now and again- its good for the soul. I'm pretty easy to live with as long as you're house trained and ideally have your own social network ie, you wont be moping about the house all the time!
I would be renting the room on a three month tenancy initially and look to extend if its working out and we get on :) You would need to commit to three months in the agreement.
The rent is £420 pcm inclusive of council tax, EE wifi broadband and landline, water rate, home insurance and Gas and Electric. The deposit is £200.
I'd also welcome monday-friday lets for £320 pcm.
The room is just for one person. There's a workshed in the garden if you need space for art/ bike work etc. Space inside the house for a bike too. Loads of storage space in the loft.
I guess I'm a 'live in landlady' (hate that term!) but I'm laidback and value other things more than material possessions. I’m not overly-precious about something which is essentially the banks!
Cant think of anything else but drop me a line if you want more info or want to see the house- telling me a few things about yourself- what you do for a living, do you plan to be in Bristol on the weekends?, what do you do in your spare time? do you have a partner? how long would you like the room for and can you provide references?
Thanks
Lauren
