Spacious double room with ensuite to rent in my unique 200 year old converted blacksmith's forge in the heart of Silsoe village in Bedfordshire.

The room has its own en-suite with shower, sink and loo. It's spacious, modern, light and bright with a double bed, built-in single wardrobe, drawers, chair, TV point, computer table and office chair. Bills included (except land-line calls and food). Free Wi-Fi. Feel free to bring your own TV.

Shared areas: large kitchen/diner, downstairs lavatory, front & back courtyards.

There's also free parking on a quiet road just outside.

Silsoe is a sought-after, historic village with a pub and small grocery store. My home is within walking distance of the renowned Wrest Park House and Gardens (an English Heritage property). If you're into walking there are lots of lovely walks locally.

Although there is a bus service the location is better suited to someone with their own transport. It's also ideal for commuting to Kings Cross London (40 minutes) from Flitwick (approx. 3 miles away), and convenient for Ampthill, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Hitchin and Luton. The M1 and A1M are both a short drive from here.

The location is ideal for a professional working at Lockheed Martin in Ampthill.

I'm looking for a sharer who's clean, tidy and cleans the shower after they've been using it kind of person!!!

The room is available on the following basis: arrival Monday, depart Friday or arrival Sunday, depart Thursday.
