Warm room with double bed

I am looking for someone to stay in my spare room from Monday to Friday, with the possibility of Sunday evenings and perhaps the odd weekend.

I am within 5 minutes Drive of Lockheed Martin and 10 minutes drive from Cranfield Uni.

There are plenty of parking places in the area but none available on the property itself. The area is safe and pleasant to walk around. The village of Stewartby is very quiet. We experience very little disturbance and there is a strong sense of community here. There is a railway station where you can get trains to Bedford or to Bletchley/Milton Keynes and then change for London. There is a little shop in the village where you can purchase basic foodstuffs and there are various supermarkets only a 10 to 15 minute drive away. There are no pubs or restaurants/takeaways in the village itself but there are some nice ones in nearby villages.

The bedroom is warm with new double glazing. The bed itself is good quality, has a sprung mattress with a memory foam top and is very comfortable. There is enough hanging space for a couple of weeks clothing and storage room in the cupboards and under the bed. There is a desk and comfortable secretary's style chair. There is also a TV with Freeview and built in DVD player and a kettle in the room, should you wish to make hot drinks. Clean bed linen is put on the bed every two weeks and clean towels are supplied weekly. Wireless access to the internet is available at no extra cost, providing usage is reasonable i. e. you are not working from home via the internet all day or doing hours of online gaming.

The bathroom is shared. There is a good 'over the bath' style electric shower but the bath itself does not have hot water on demand so hot baths are only available in the morning.

The kitchen is also shared, with an electric oven and a microwave, so making breakfast and an evening snack is fine.

I do not share my sitting room as there is only one room downstairs and I will be working there in the evenings.

I own some guinea pigs, rabbits and budgies that live in my conservatory in cages. I have a cat which stays downstairs and out of the kitchen. I also keep a few laying hens in the garden(nice fresh free range eggs available). So if you don't like animals or have allergies, this probably isn't the place for you.

I'm a full time school teacher and I often work at home very late in to the evenings, so I require a sensible, considerate person to live here. I am looking for someone who is perhaps a student or someone more mature who works full time. Staff from Lockheed Martin and people from Cranfield uni, are extremely welcome and no references will be required for you, just a look at your security pass is fine.
