I am offering a first floor single room, set in a clean, tidy and organised mid-terraced home in a quiet neighborhood - ideally suited for a student (or perhaps a professional who may need somewhere to stay during the week but who goes home on weekends - although full time occupancy is of course acceptable).

The house is a five minute walk from Reading University main campus in a much sought-after area with local shopping, pub and food take-aways.

The room is fully furnished with a single bed, small wardrobe, chest of draws, TV, DVD player and laundry basket.

The occupant will have access to commonly shared amenities which include a living room, conservatory, back garden and a kitchen with kettle, microwave, cooker, oven, fridge-freezer and dishwasher.

A washing machine/dryer is also available to use and there is super-fast free wi-fi broadband service throughout the house.

Cleaning of common areas is all taken care of and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly with one professional live-in landlord and one PhD student.

For car owners, free on-road parking is available and access to bus route (no. 3 and 8) is just a minute away from the front door step, providing a 15-20 minute bus ride to The Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading town centre and railway station.

The owner is an ex-graduate of Reading University and lives at the property with one other lodger. We have had lots of students staying over the years and always make those who stay with us feel welcome and comfortable.

The house is cleaned professionally once a fortnight and we always try to keep communal areas tidy.

All of the above comes at an inclusive price of £500 per month and includes all electric, gas, water and wi-fi bills.

The room is available to view most days and will be available to rent from 1st January 2021. You are welcome to come and view it and meet the owner.
