This furnished double bedroom, on the top floor of a three bed house, includes a large main living/sleeping area (9'7'' by 12'4''), plus an entry-corridor containing two built-in double wardrobes. There is a spacious (6'10'' by 6'5'') ensuite with bath and shower.

The house has a large basement kitchen/dining room with dishwasher, oven, microwave, central pedestal with hob, plenty of storage, second fridge if necessary, and a separate laundry room with washing machine and condenser dryer.

The house also has two reception rooms (TV room and a "library"), is central heated throughout and wireless broadband is available.

The house is located on a quiet one-way road 15 minutes walk from Reading town centre. Only a 5 minute walk from Reading West train station it is very convenient for commuting. There is off-road parking for one car and the option to purchase an on-street parking permit from the council (one year, car must be registered to address).

We are both quiet and independent but friendly and into board games. I play piano and act/direct at a local theatre while my girlfriend paints and crochets.

I am self-employed, often working from home during the day, while my girlfriend commutes to work several days a week. We are looking to rent the room to a professional who works during the day.

Rent is £600 pcm, all bills included (utilities, council tax, unlimited broadband etc). The room is available from 1 April but can be viewed anytime.
