MUST SEE: Room in Beautiful Flat in Reading Centre

Ad ref# 3435384

This beautiful flat is in Queens Wharf, only a 5 minute walk from the "riverside" and only 10 minutes walk to the train station, so the location is ideal if you work or spend time in town or use the train station a lot. There's a concierge too!

The flat itself is beautiful, with new appliances throughout including a dishwasher, washer-dryer Nespresso machine as well as everything else you would expect.

The really big kitchen-living area is a great feature of the flat with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Kennet & Avon canal, wall mounted TV, and it is a great area to just relax or to entertain. I spend quite a bit of time in this room, but I'm always welcoming and love to chat or just relax, and I like to entertain occasionally, but will always be conscious of your space.

The bathroom is not actually En-suite, but it's about 3m down the hall from your bedroom door and would be all yours as it's a 2 bathroom flat. The shower is really good, and there is a bath.

The room itself has a really comfortable (expensive) double bed, a huge wardrobe and a unit with draws and cupboards in it, as well as drawers under the bed, and a bedside table and chair, so there's plenty of space for stuff. I'd rather rent it fully furnished, but if you want to change something, we can discuss that too.

The rent includes all of the bills, fast, reliable WiFi, and Sky TV with all of the channels including BT Sport. If you want to get multi-room, then of course we can discuss that. So while the rent might seem a lot, you shouldn't have any other costs... unless you want parking...

There is parking available in a secure car-park, but it would be an additional cost. (I think it's about £100 per month, but not 100% sure as you would rent the space from another resident of the building, so I would just put you in touch with them and leave you to it.)

I would consider slightly reducing the rent for someone staying only 5 days per week.

I'd really like to find someone who I get on with as it's so important to me that I live in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Sometimes I'm up for a chat, and sometimes I just want to chill out, but I think that's pretty normal. I'd like to live with someone pretty relaxed, has a sense of humor, and knows how to have fun, but is relatively tidy and respectful, as I aim to be.

I'm pretty easy going but like to keep the place tidy (I'm not going to harass you about a cereal bowl left out or anything). I try to be sociable and active, and I'm always up for meeting new people and having fun. I play hockey in the winter and golf in the summer and will give most things a go. I like going to the pub and out for meals as well as cooking and entertaining in the flat occasionally.

I'm hoping that someone like-minded will want to move in. Ideally I'd like an atmosphere where we can share a laugh and be sociable sometimes, but will also respect each other's space and privacy or just relax and watch a movie or a game of football.
So, if you like what you see, then don't hesitate to give me a shout to arrange a viewing or ask any questions at all.
