Lovely single room available in Victorian flat

I have a bedroom available to let in my home from 18th September. I am looking for a Monday to Friday lodger, as although the flat is spacious and light, the bedroom itself is quite small (approx 10’ x 6’). The room is furnished with a bed (the mattress is 3’8” x 6’), bedside table, mirror and wardrobe. Rent is inclusive of all bills (Council Tax, Water, Electric, Gas, Landline and Wifi).

I’m 33, studying for a PhD part-time and self-employed part-time, working from home. I’m a clean and tidy person who enjoys a happy and peaceful home environment. I’m fairly quiet natured but also sociable, and am usually working hard or out seeing friends or doing something sporty.

I’m looking for someone who appreciates a calm home and is tidy and friendly. I think the room would be ideal for a University lecturer, post-graduate student, Hospital member of staff, or someone who needs to commute into London or surrounding areas for work.

My flat is on Alexandra Road, which is about a 10 minute walk from the University campus, a 5 minute walk from Royal Berkshire Hospital and a 17 minute walk from Reading Station. Being on the east side of Reading it’s also really quick to get to Junction 10 of the M4. Parking is unrestricted on the road and I also have one off-road parking space, which we can share.
