Great double room in central Windsor

My flatmate Joe is moving up to London so I am looking for a new flatmate from March 8th

The housemate

I am 24, and work for Mars in Slough (plenty of chocolate included in the rent) I have lived here in Windsor for a couple of years, long enough to know the better of the pubs and local things to do. Outside of work I enjoy cooking, like playing football & squash, and I am usually up for the local pub quiz. I am pretty relaxed and easy to get on with and am looking for this in a new flatmate. I'm about most evenings after work and some weekends.

The location

The flat is a ground floor flat, right in the centre of Windsor, less than 5 minutes walk to Windsor and Eton Central station, and 10 minutes walk to Windsor and Eton Riverside station. There is on street parking available with a permit from the council on the next road, which is free for local residents.

Just off St Leondards Road, the flat is close to both Co-op and Waitrose, and all of Windsor's restaurants if you don't feel like cooking. A 5 minute walk gets you to the lovely Long Walk or head in the other direction to find yourself on the banks of the Thames. Good for walking, running or exploring.

The flat

The room is a light, spacious double, furnished with what Joe tells me is a comfortable bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a few other bits and pieces. It is right next to the bathroom, which is shared and there is further storage in the cupboards in the hallway if you need it.

The flat has a comfortable living room, with a great L-shaped sofa for relaxing in the evenings and a small dining table which seats 4 if you have friends round for dinner. There are double doors leading out to a small patio, which is good for a drink after work or barbecue in the summer.

The modern kitchen is galley style and is equipped with a gas hob, oven, large fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

The bills

Rent is 600 per calendar month, and the bills are broken down per person as follows:

Council tax - 55 pounds per month
Gas and Electricity - 25-30 pounds per month
Water - 10 to 15 pounds per month
Sky tv with unlimited broadband - 20 pounds per month
A great cleaner who comes twice a month for 2-3 hours each time - 30 pounds per month (she also irons for no extra charge!)

So all in this works out to be up to another 150 pounds each per month, or 750 pounds including rent.
