Large Double Room to rent in detached 3-Bed house

A large Double Room has become available in a lovely and very spacious 3-Bed detached house less than 10 minutes walk from the town centre.

The room is situated at the back of the house with views of the garden ( I say views, it's a pretty basic garden, I can't see me winning any green finger awards anytime soon) A wardrobe or two can be provided as can a TV unit however whoever moves in will have to bring their own bed. Alternatively the room can be left completely empty for you to furnish it as you wish. A lodger is nice and more than welcome but a housemate is more what I am looking for.

The room and the house as a whole is very welcoming, tidy and clean because a home is where I feel you should be at your most relaxed and happy. I am a live in landlord and I currently work from home which means any problems that might arise get fixed super fast.

Although this advert has several pictures, actual shots of the room itself and of one of the reception rooms are not present due to privacy reasons. The existing housemate who is leaving to begin a new career in a new town is very private about his possessions and one of the reception rooms is very much full of nice things I don't really want to share with every person on the internet but if you are a geek in any way shape or form this is the point where you should be quite exited and come check it out for yourself.

We have a 200 Meg Virgin Media fibre broadband connection connected to a brand new router which is super fast, Sky TV and Amazon Prime TV so there is always something to do and ways to be social and hang out together. With 2 reception rooms (both with televisions and comfy Sofa's and/or chairs) there is always the means to get some personal space if you have had a stressful day at work or just feel like being on your own. The house is big enough to be as private or social as you wish it to be. The £550.00 PCM covers the monthly rent plus absolutely all bills in order to make everything simple and easy and zero fuss for whoever moves in.

If you have a car or motorbike there is a driveway although only smaller cars will fit on it, however the road is long so street parking is never really a problem. A small to medium sized car can also easily fit into the garage as well or anything else you might need to store can go in there too. The entire house has had brand new double glazing and doors installed as well as all new double convector radiators put in every room and a pretty large ceramic bath installed in late 2020.

What I am looking for is a person who enjoys coming home and if they feel like it sharing a story or two about their day and again, if they are in the mood occasionally unwinding with a good film, TV show or a chat over a coffee or tea. If you are someone who likes total privacy though that's absolutely fine as with 2 reception rooms plus large bedrooms its easy to be alone if you so wish.

A down to earth sensible, respectful and friendly person who is just happy being happy and free from drama would be a perfect fit, fantastic friendships have been made in this home and I would love to carry on this wonderful atmosphere with a new friendly person. Pets are a no-no i'm afraid and the house is a no smoking environment.
