A lovely wrought-iron spiral staircase takes you up to a large, light and airy room, comprising a kitchen with sink, cupboards, cooker and breakfast bar, with a full width picture window which overlooks the garden, pond and barn. I have two cats and the hens are an added bonus; fresh eggs for breakfast!
The kitchen/sitting room is well proportioned and, with two Velux windows set into the mansard roof, it is always bright. The flat is part furnished and would suit a professional single person/couple. Within a minute's walk are restaurants, pubs and excellent small shops, library, bank, hairdresser/barber, garage and post office, with a well appointed larger shopping parade just five minutes’ walk away.
High Wycombe, with its excellent schools, shops and entertainment/sports facilities is ten minutes away by car or regular bus, and from there the Chiltern line will have you arriving in Marylebone within 35 minutes. From Amersham, fifteen minutes away, the Metropolitan line runs very frequently straight to the heart of London. To drive into the heart of the city takes less than an hour. The Chilterns are an area of outstanding natural beauty and walks in the local beech woods are a joy in all weathers, especially with the huge range of excellent pubs nearby!
Free off-street parking is available behind the garden where your car will be visible from your kitchen window.
The rent is £850 per month inclusive of bills and council tax. Laundry service at the main house available by arrangement.
