Double room available in semi-detached house in the village of Bar Hill. Available from 14th June, the room is available due to current house mate moving out.

The room comes unfurnished but there are 2 built in cupboards, and the opportunity to buy a bed (double) from the housemate that is leaving. The room is approximately 2. 5m (8'3") by 2. 8m (9'3"). The rest of the house is fully furnished, with a shared living room (with large TV with Virgin TV service), large kitchen with electric hob, oven & grill, conservatory with extendable dining table and washing machine, good sized garden, and a garage with some space for storage. Off street parking is available. There is a shared bathroom with an electric power shower over the bath. Smoking is not allowed inside the house.

Rent is £420 per calendar month which includes internet (up to 60mb fibre optic connection), television, phone line, water, electricity, gas, TV license and council tax.
The security deposit is £392. 31 (payable to the leaving house mate) and the new house mate will need to undergo a reference check process with Haart Property Management (will incur a fee - amount TBC).

The house is located in the village of Bar Hill which sits alongside the A14 and is approximately 5 miles North West of Cambridge city centre. It is very close to the M11 and approximately 7 miles from the Cambridge Science Park. Buses run every 20 minutes to the city centre. Bar Hill benefits from various amenities including a large Tesco Extra within walking distance of the house.

We are looking for a professional person, ideally who works standard working hours. While we are a fun and outgoing couple, we enjoy a relatively quiet social life and spend much of our time when not working at home. I am a web developer at a small local company who has a great interest in computers, technology, the internet and music. My partner is currently working in the retail sector and has a passion for many various arts and crafts.
