About the house:
My house is a cosy and welcoming semi-detached property in a quiet, leafy and popular residential area just off Green End and Milton Roads in Chesterton. The large garden offers a peaceful escape from the city with bird song and lots of trees.

The house will be shared with me primarily. At times there will be another guest in the spare room. The Kitchen is fully equipped and you can use this to prepare your meals. You can use the dining room to eat your meals and watch the birds in the garden, read a book or just contemplate life!

There is secure private storage for a bike in the garden shed which has a lock and lots of free on street parking and a large, private back garden with patio. There is also a downstairs WC.

The house is close to excellent links to city centre, Science and Business Parks on Milton Road and the two Cambridge Universities - Cambridge and Anglia Ruskin (including the new Cambridge West and North Sites, Cavendish Lab and Sedgwick site - 10 mins bike or 10 mins bus).

Within walking distance to the new Chesterton/Cambridge North railway station set to open in May 2017 where you can travel to
London, etc.

The bus stop for the Sanger Institute/EBI bus is 5mins walk, Cambridge river side and cycle path, The Grafton Shopping Centre, the City Centre and good local Pubs are a short walk away and very easy access. The house really is well located.

Cycling distance to Addenbrooke's hospital should you work on that site (Biomedical campus, Astra Zeneca, etc) is a comfortable cycle ride (30 mins) or a direct route on the No 2 City bus from the end of my street.

The house is a 5 mins walk to local shops, take aways, Tesco/Co-op supermarkets and pubs.

Leisurely walk (30 mins) or 2 mins drive to Milton Natural Wildlife Park and the large Tesco Superstore.

Great access to A14/A10/M11 and directly to London via the new rail link.

You can walk to the Cam river in under 5 mins and enjoy the excitement of the rowing boats and barges going up and down as well as a nice walk to The Plough pub and restaurant in Fen Ditton through the fields along the river.

I'm a friendly, well-travelled, clean and tidy, happy and considerate working professional and a live-in landlady (you will be sharing my home with me and my 2 cats, so cat lovers essential!). I work at the University of Cambridge. I like a peaceful life and a clean environment, especially the kitchen and bathroom. I am friendly and welcoming and half Italian.

My home is a great house for someone looking to be central to Cambridge's hustle and bustle but in a quiet residential area to rest and re-charge the batteries! I cycle to work every day as it is very close to the centre of Cambridge. The bus stop is 2 mins walk away from the house (Citi 2 bus).
