South facing room with double bed (for single occupancy only) in a good sized house (about 190 sq metres) about 1 mile from the city centre and the Cambridge colleges.

The house is on two floors. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms (1 with ensuite and the others, including this one, share 2 bathrooms - 1 upstairs with shower and 1 downstairs with bath).

Downstairs, guests have use of a large, modern well equipped kitchen (with dishwasher and washing machine in a separate utility room) and large, well furnished lounge with dining table. Broadband internet (wifi throughout the house), multi-channel cable TV. Central heating. Parking nearby. There is a patio for shared use. The landlord has an annex downstairs at the back..

Convenience store 2 mins walk. Restaurants 5 minutes or walk into town centre (18 - 20 minutes). Also, on good bus route into Cambridge centre and the bus and train stations. No smoking but otherwise no strict house rules except keeping the place clean and tidy for others.
