Single bedroom in Central Cambridge

We have a cosy single bedroom to let in our pretty three bedroom Victorian house in Cambridge.

The room is clean, quiet, nicely decorated and overlooks our secluded garden. There's a single bed with plenty of pillows, a writing desk, shelves, chest of drawers, and wardrobe, all of which have room for you to put your things. You will have full access to the bathroom, living area, kitchen and garden.

You will be sharing the house with my sister and myself. We are both post graduate students in our late twenties, and like to keep our home clean and tidy. It is a calm, quiet space and we are both friendly and respectful of your privacy.

The house is located in the leafy De Freville residential neighbourhood of Cambridge which is safe, quiet and very friendly. We're just 400m from the river Cam right next to Midsummer Common and Jesus Green, and a 15 minute stroll along the river into central Cambridge. There are some excellent riverside pubs and restaurants close by as well as local shops.

The house is 10 minutes drive from the railway station. The best way to get into central Cambridge is to walk (15 minutes) or cycle like the locals do (5 minutes). There's a number of bus stops within 10 minutes walk which will connect you to all routes in and out of town, as well as the Guided Bus. There is visitor on-street car parking if required.

We have a dog called Percy (see the picture). Percy is not allowed upstairs. He is sometimes at our house and sometimes stays elsewhere. If you don't like dogs, he has another place he can stay.

We would like our housemate to be clean, friendly and respectful. We are ideally looking for somebody to stay Monday - Friday. If you are interested please send me a message. We are arranging viewings for the week commencing 24th August.
