Double room in prime position Godmanchester

We have is a great double room in a very friendly professional house share on Cambridge Street in GodManchester, which is a prime position for Huntington city centre, the A1 and a 14, as well as walkable to the local Co-Op, and the great gastro pubs and restaurants of Godmanchester.

The house has been refurbished with a new kitchen, and new bathroom, which includes a large double walk in shower. The kitchen was not only refurbished, but each tenant has their own set of double kitchen cupboards, and an individual fridge/freezer.

There is a mix of males and females who have all been resident awhile and get on well. I’m afraid that due to past experiences in the houses in which we rent out rooms, we do not accept anybody who is unemployed, under the age of 21, or using housing benefit to pay their rent.

My wife and I are registered as landlords with the council, therefore all relevant health and safety standards, (Gas boiler safety certificates annually, fire escape locks on doors, etc., etc.). Are met. Your refundable deposit paid is paid into the Governments Tenancy Deposit Scheme for safekeeping . Rent is paid weekly via a bank standing order .

The bedroom itself has laminate flooring laid, matching wooden Venetian blinds, a double bed, which provides storage underneath, with a memory foam mattress, a large set of double built in wardrobes, bed side table and a large set of draws. There is also a built in TV area with Digital TV aerial cable
Basically, the room is completely ready for somebody to walk into and live quite happily.

The refundable deposit is £220.00 there is also a £75.00 document and registration charge. The rent is £110.00 per week which includes all bills, unlimited Wi-Fi and TV licence (the bedroom has a digital TV aerial built-in).
