St Ives town centre double room

Double room in Victorian terraced cottage in quiet, safe cul-de-sac, less than a minute's walk from St Ives town centre.

Bus stops to Cambridge (inc. city centre, train station, science park and Addenbrookes Hospital) and Huntingdon (inc. Hinchingbrooke Hospital, train station, town centre and onward to Peterborough) are just 25 yards away, at the end of our tiny street. The A14 is 5 minutes drive away, Huntingdon train station (less than 1 hour from King's Cross) is 15 minutes drive away, nearest gym is 10 minutes walk away.

Off-street parking available overnight. Use of large, well-equipped kitchen, luxury bathroom with huge bath and new shower (plus a second, separate WC), garden and dishwasher are all included, as is wifi. The living room is on the small side so the let would ideally suit someone who doesn't intend to spend a lot of time in there! It's not off-limits, though, and I'm not around every night, so you are welcome to enjoy it then.

Room contains very comfy queen-sized double bed (with orthopaedic mattress and luxurious mattress topper), mirrored wardrobe, shelved cupboard, desk and chair, bedside table and lamp and 3 double plug sockets.

Bed linen can be provided, if required, at no extra charge. You're welcome to bring your own, if you prefer. Rent includes all bills except landline call charges.

I am a self-employed physical therapist working from my practice at home. I also work away from home at least 1 day/evening per week so you'll have private time in the house. I'm very easy going, enjoy company and private time equally and respect other people's space and property. I want you to feel at home in my home, I dont stand on ceremony!

I'm looking for a house-trained, professional, weekday-only (Mon pm to Fri am) lodger, respectful of others' property and considerate when it comes to sharing space.
