Gainford is a small village between Darlington, Barnard Castle, Bishop Auckland and Richmond. There is a bus but a car is probably necessary and we have off-road parking. The house is spacious and characterful with a walled garden. The room is light and airy and has views over the village green.
The shared kitchen is large and well-equipped and we have a communal sitting room with a TV and an open fire.
The house would suit someone who likes animals (2 friendly dogs and a discerning cat), art, music and books. We're friendly, flexible and quiet (mostly).
We are looking for a student or professional who is thoughtful and trustworthy. We are offering a room for the first time and are happy to discuss options with the right person.
