18th Century farmhouse inside the National Park. Double room with view of the fells, private bathroom and ample parking. Log fire, aga in kitchen and lots of space, including fields, garden and orchard for peace and quiet. Raised beds available for keen gardener (but not compulsory!), storage for bikes etc, tennis court. Happy to have partner to stay if it suits from time to time. Former lodger happy to provide reference of landlord! I have a cleaner who comes once a fortnight. Nearest pub 1m away. Must have car, no public transport through village. Great base for outdoor types, runners, walkers, photographers etc.
A quiet place to study, write your book or dissertation and you have free run of the place and are welcome to make it your home for as long as you wish.
