Large double room in spacious house

We have a large double room to let in a spacious house in Wetheral. The room is fully furnished, light, clean and decorated to a high standard. It has a double bed and plenty of storage space. All bills (except phone) included. We have a cleaner for the communal areas of the house, and broadband internet – both included in the price. You’d have shared use of the kitchen, bathrooms (we have three so there’s never a queue!), living room (with open fire), utility room (washing machine, tumble dryer, etc). There’s a large garden with courtyard. We have off-road parking and a large garage to store bikes and outdoor and adventurous gear.
We're in employment, working hard and quite long hours. We’re friendly and outgoing. We are considerate, independent, easy to get along with, and happy to be sociable and engage in conversation. There is a friendly and well-behaved dog.
Wetheral is a lovely village to live in, located four miles east of Carlisle; it’s within easy cycling distance. There are regular buses into town and trains on the Carlisle to Newcastle line. Only 5 minutes' drive from Junctions 42 and 43 of the M6. We’re within a neighbourhood watch area. We have a couple of pubs and various other amenities including hotel with gym/spa/pool, shop, post office, restaurant, café, village hall, playing fields, doctors’ surgery, and hairdresser. The village is in the Eden Valley, with beautiful walks along the riverbanks and in Wetheral woods.
We’re looking for someone independent, but who is easy to get along with when we’re around. We keep a clean and tidy house, and we’re looking for someone considerate, friendly, a professional in employment or higher education and with a mature outlook and looking for peace and quiet after a busy day.
