Large house arranged as 2 flats. I live upstairs you live downstairs. You would be sharing the house with myself, daughter and cat, however the arrangement means we are able to live mostly separately so ideal for someone preferring privacy.

You would be renting a lovely spacious furnished double bedroom with exclusive use of your own bathroom, includes all bills, no other sharers, ground floor of house virtually all to yourself.

Best of both worlds. If you are looking for a bit more space and privacy than the typical shared house arrangement but less of the expense, commitment and legal obligations of a flat tenancy this may suit you.

The room is on the ground floor of mid-terrace victorian house on a quiet street close to Stoke village shops/pubs/parks etc. The house was previously arranged as flats and I live on the upper floors and have my own facilities therefore you would have plenty of privacy and space to yourself. I really only need to use the ground floor for a bit of extra space for my stuff (including a few bikes) and shared use of washing machine (rest of kitchen is basically yours, I have my own).

The bedroom is large and quiet overlooking the garden to the rear with built-in cupboards and wardrobe and comes furnished with double bed, mattress, bedside table, desk and chest drawers but also welcome to bring your own (space allowing). Wireless broadband and freeview TV aerial.

Your bathroom is directly next to the bedroom (but not actually en-suite) with bath and shower over.

There is a good size kitchen with electric cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster etc. Cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, pans etc provided but also plenty of storage space for your own.

Furnished living room with sofa, chairs and table. (I have my own upstairs, you just share space with a our bikes as I've got nowhere else to keep them!)

The house is spacious and light with good sized rooms and high ceilings, carpeted throughout with period features including decorative fireplaces. Draught-proofed original sash windows and double glazed windows. Gas central heating and instant hot water. Access to lovely sunny garden for hanging out washing, bins etc.

There is unrestricted on-street parking. On several bus routes (direct to city centre, Derriford Hospital, Torpoint) and only 20 minutes walk / 10 mins cycle to city centre, university and Devonport Dockyard.

Looking to rent to a quiet, conscientious, clean and tidy persons in full time employment, ideally working normal daytime hours (no working from home or night shifts). No persons receiving benefits. Very strictly non-smoking. Single person or couple. Small indoor pets considered (in cage or tank etc). Vegetarian preferred. Cat lover an advantage as my cat is very friendly though he doesn't have access to ground floor unless you invite him in! Short-term or part-time lets welcome. Ideally situated for dockyard contractor or similar looking for somewhere quiet to come back to during the working week. Arrangement works especially well for a mon-fri let (rent reduced pro-rata at £16/day) Employment reference and proof of identity will be required.

Rent of £112 per week inclusive of water, electricity, gas, council tax, TV license and wireless broadband. There is an additional phone point to connect to cable tv/internet/landline etc if you also wish to connect or transfer and pay for your own subscription (eg virgin) though you are welcome to use my unlimited wireless broadband if that's all you require. TV aerial gets you all the normal Freeview channels.

Rent payable either weekly or monthly in advance. A deposit will be required upfront of either £112 with a 1 week notice period or £485 with a 1 month notice period. We can discuss to suit your needs.

Also happy to provide a laundry and/or cleaning service for a nominal extra charge if your busy lifestyle requires.
