The room available is ideally suitable for a single person. Ideal for a PGCE student who's done the 'student' thing and looking for a bit of a retreat - or a short term contract worker. You will have use of a private bathroom and will be able to use the kitchen. Thorne Barton is a 17th Century listed farmhouse that has been recently refurbished, full of character and history and is situated right at the heart of this thriving, friendly village. The coast is just 10 minutes away, yet we're only 15 minutes from Exeter, 10 minutes from the M5 and 15 minutes from Exeter Airport. We are very easy going, chilled and friendly. When staying with us we will respect your privacy and welcome you to join in with Thorne Barton life as much or as little as you would like. There are 2 pubs a fish & chip & Chinese takeaway, and a restaurant in the village. Also the Thorne Barton Domestic Goddess will be happy to provide meals at a very reasonable extra cost. Well worth checking us out. Previous guests have absolutely loved it here. A very happy home :)
