Hi,

I have a large room (14'8 x 10'6) to rent in my 3 bedroom house. The room is fully furnished and has a big bay window.

The inclusive price is £545 per month. This includes everything, we even have a cleaner! (The “everything” includes gas, electricity, water, phone, wireless internet, council tax, TV licence, and even loo rolls – as they are important).

In terms of comparing this to other ads you may be looking at, the value of the “included bills” is around £150 per month, so the “rent bit” is around £395 per month / £91 per week.

The house has three storeys (no basement!), is light and airy, has stripped boards throughout and has a lovely little garden. We have all the usual stuff including wireless internet, washer dryer and TV (though there never seems to be much interesting on).

The location is great, being just by Trafalgar Street and City College in the North Laine area, close to lots of lively pubs, the train station and buses, though living here you don’t really need the bus to get to the seafront or city centre.

There is also totally secure off street, covered, lockable bike storage.

The room is available from 23rd June.

You are likely to be female, over 30ish (or at least past the stage of regular nightclubbing on a “school” night), and someone who doesn’t think they totally fit in to the mould the organisation you work in thinks you should. We're looking for a housemate who can get on with their own life, but who will debate and deliberate with us over several glasses of red from time to time about the issues that matter.
