Bright, double room near front, Mon to Friday only

The room available is a large double bedroom in a house in the Kemp Town area of Brighton. It's on a quiet road running down opposite the Royal Sussex Hospital and only one block up from the front. There are excellent bus services across Brighton from the top of the road.

This room is available on weekdays only and not available at weekends, although the tenant is welcome to arrive on Sunday night and leave on Friday.

The Kemp Town Village area, as it's known, is a lovely bit of Brighton with independent shops, vintage shops, cafes and bars. As well as more practical shops like a greengrocer an excellent butcher and a small supermarket all very close. It’s also less than a ten minute walk to the cinema at the Marina.

The owners live in London during the week but there is one other person living there during the week as well. But they work most evenings so you have the whole house pretty much to yourself.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher and range cooker, the bathroom has a walk in shower and the whole house is newly decorated. There’s wireless broadband throughout the house, and cable TV in the sitting room. The house is very large and the rooms are very private, the room that you would have is on a different floor to the other tenant's - it’s a three storey house. All bills are included in the rent.

It’s about a twenty minute walk into Brighton town centre, and there are frequent buses at the end of our road which go across Brighton, into town, or across to Hove or to the train station. You can apply for a parking permit if you need one, there’s no waiting list in this area. Or it’s about a ten minute walk to the nearest free on-street parking.

We have a cat here that the other tenant takes responsibility for during the week.

Couples are welcome but the rent would be slightly higher to reflect the cost of higher bills.
