Cosy, Single Room In Friendly Veggie Household

Happy New Year...Happy New Room!

We have a cosy, fully furnished single room for a lovely lodger to come and join our friendly, vegetarian household! Available from Monday 8th January 2018.

We are a married female couple who work in community arts and Civil Service, and our lovely lodger! We live in a four-bedroom house with a garden in Loder Road Brighton, in the Preston Park area. (This is the North end of town) We live near a bus stop (on a route that goes to the Uni in the morning & back in the afternoon, and regular buses into town) and a big park. It is about a 25 minute, leisurely walk into town.

This lovely room has a comfy single bed, desk, wardrobe and chest of drawers and would suit a full time working person or full time student, who goes out to work or study every day. (One of us works from home as a community musician and so spends a lot of office hours recording, and so we are looking for someone who is (mostly) out of the house in the daytime)

We would like to rent this room short term (per week) but can discuss other arrangements too.

We are happy to share meals but please note that our home is strictly vegetarian (no meat no fish) so would only suit you if you are veggie / vegan and /or prepared to live as part of a veggie household! PLEASE only get in touch if this describes you!!

You would be welcome to share our lounge, where there is a TV and DVD player, and we have broadband in the house, which is included in the rent, as are most other bills (excluding land line)

We love playing outside! We have a camper van and often go away camping and travelling. We go to a lot of singing / choir events and festivals when we can, as well as live music.

We work hard and can often be found binging on Netflix to wind down! Best of 2017 for us included The Handmaid's Tale and the return of Twin Peaks, and we have recently enjoyed GLOW, Sense8, Transparent, House of Cards and Stranger Things…to name a few!
