Spacious double in lovely shared house with sauna

We’ve got a bright sunny double room opening out onto the roof, becoming available in our house with new glass roof double height lounge opening out with views down and across to Fiveways. The room is part furnished with (built-in) wardrobe, comfy double bed, desk and chair. The house is light and airy and has all mod cons with two bathrooms, gas central heating - so constant hot water (pressure), kitchen with dishwasher, lounge with ping pong table/Billiard, Virgin broadband, huge sunny garden with a number of vegetable patches, a summerhouse and a sauna! We are 5 mins to Fiveways and 8 mins to Lewes Rd Sainsburys, trains, Brighton Uni Cockcroft Building. Lots of free parking in front of the house and good for public transport – buses and shops 2 minutes. Or cycle into town in 10 min as we have a secure bike cellar. Please check the postcode.

We want to find the right people. Would prefer another female for gender balance but not essential. We are looking for the ideal person to be sociable enjoy cooking, watching films on the projector or visit the sauna too. We sometimes cook together but not always. Our communal spaces are tidy and clean as there's quite a few of us it's important cleanliness is maintained.

We look for someone perhaps into any of these things: music/festivals, politics, feminism, theatre, art, cinema, sports, sailing or simply good food. Gay friendly essential.

The double room in on the first floor and will be coming available from 22nd March (£350 rent and £70 for council tax, bills, wifi, etc. so £420 all-in). Deposit required but currently no agency fees. No couples and no pets sorry, and as we offer and want a pretty stable household you would need to commit to at least half a year.
