Double Room beautiful house, Brighton/Hove border

Hi,

This is a lovely three-storey Victorian terraced house with open-plan living, which includes a really light and sunny shared sitting room, dining area and a well-equipped kitchen. The shared space has glazed double doors that open out onto a small leafy terraced garden. We have a washing machine, reliable WIFI, central heating and also TV (Virgin & Netflix).

The available bedroom overlooks the garden and has neutral decor, with cream painted walls, stripped and varnished wooden floorboards, a new cream rug, and a double bed. It’s not a massive room, but it feels spacious and there is very generous storage space with roomy cupboards either side of the chimney breast. The room has a table & chair and a chest of drawers. There’s space under the bed for storage boxes if needed.

There are two bathrooms in the house.

This is a female household, with a live-in owner and one other female housemate. The house is easy to share and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming.

We’re fond of lively conversation and up for sharing the odd meal and a movie, or bingeing something on Netflix. The house is quiet if you need to work from home or are studying. The main attractions though, are the two resident lurchers - they are super-chilled, affectionate dogs, who will treat you like an old friend without being pushy!!

Transport is easy as we are a short walk to Hove Station, also with frequent buses at the end of the street to Brighton station, town centre and the universities.

Shops and bars at 7 Dials are a 10 min walk.

Regular buses include the No 7, which runs every five mins or so into the town centre & Brighton Station.

Also the 25, which goes to the universities.

10 mins walk to Hove Station and Western Road.

15 min walk to the beach.

Parking permits for the street are easily purchased from Brighton & Hove Parking services, with no waiting list. Zone 'O'
