Good sized double room in Hove (Westbourne)

We are a professional gay couple (30 & 24) and a lovely cat with a room available for another professional. Room is available currently but we're willing to wait for the right person.

THE PLACE

A lovely maisonette over first and second floors of a period building in the Westbourne/Poet's Corner area of Hove. The room is a good size double, semi-furnished with double bed & bedside table. We also have a canvas wardrobe that could be used if required.

The communal space is very large - great sized open plan lounge/diner/kitchen, separate WC and good sized bathroom (separate bath & shower).

Currently no outside space (there are plans for some though!) but there's a rather large beach at the bottom of the road and hove lawns are a short walk away too.

The area has permit holder parking - as neither of us drive we haven't looked into getting a permit but this could be done for the right flatmate.

THE LOCATION

We are in the Westbourne/Poet's Corner are of Hove which really is a lovely place to live. You'll find cool boutique shops, nice restaurants and pubs just at the top of the road.

We're situated between 2 major bus routes (stops for the 1, 1A, 6, 49, 46, 2, 2A are all within a 2 min walk). For commuters we're also around 10 mins away from Aldrington station or 15 mins from Hove station (direct trains to London).

At the top of our road there are two local supermarkets (Coop & Sainsburies), loads of local produce shops and a ten minute walk away there is Hove's Tesco superstore and the George Street shopping area.

ABOUT US

One gay couple, one working in financial services and the other in a special needs school. Generally quiet during the week (we work 9-5) & like to relax, go out & have fun with friends at the weekends.
