Lovely stylish en-suite double room

This is a bright, sunny en-suite double room in our lovely large family home, close to trendy Seven Dials. Brighton station is just 10 minutes walk away (3 minutes by bus) and it’s an easy stroll downhill to the Laines, and the centre of town, or going the other way, about a 15 minute walk to the seafront. We are on the 7 and 27 bus route.

The room is on the top floor of the house so you’d have plenty of privacy and there is a gorgeous en-suite with a deep roll-top bath and shower. All bills are included. Wifi is available 24/7. Single occupancy only.

About the house: We have a young son and a dog (cocker spaniel, very friendly), I work from home sometimes and the house is a peaceful one and needs to be quiet in the evenings. Speaking from experience, the room would perfectly suit a working professional or mature student. No party animals!

Room facilities include a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, lamp and pretty feature fireplace. Attractive neutral décor – no chintz! A large window overlooks gardens and a church spire at the back so it’s pretty quiet.

The person would have use of the large kitchen, which is very well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave etc. There is also a sitting room and pretty garden to sit in. You’d be required to keep your room tidy and clean.

Total rent: £525 a month including bills. We require references and £400 in advance to secure the room.
