Small room in friendly & cosy house share

Small room to rent in a friendly house share. The house is in a courtyard of 4 houses.

Excellent location: just one block from the sea, 5-10 minute's walk to the Marina, on the edge of Kemptown and Whitehawk and a short walk to East Brighton Park and Sheepcote Valley.

The room is small, but is currently furnished with a 'small double' mattress (no bed frame I'm afraid). The room is too narrow for a standard double bed, but space could be opened up by swapping the current mattress for a single bed.

The room has french windows leading on to the balcony (so gets excellent light), decent shelf storage space and additional floor to ceiling storage on the landing. The balcony overlooks the courtyard.

As well as the 2 bedrooms, the house has 1 bathroom, a spacious living room/dining room and a small kitchen. There is also secure bike storage in the courtyard.

You would be sharing the house with me, Emily. I work in Brighton, I'm a fundraiser for a small international charity. My interests include salsa dancing, cycling, climbing, aerials, cooking and I also play a little bit of guitar and piano. I'm looking for someone who would make a friendly and considerate house mate.

Bills tend to come to just over £100 per person each month. The will also be a fee to pay the agency for drawing up the new contract (about £60 each) and for your referencing (not sure how much this is).
