Double room available in fantastic shared house

A room has become available in our very established house share. The room is the smallest out of 4 but comfortably fits a double bed and furniture. We are looking for a new member who would slot right in.

We're looking ideally for a female to get the overall dynamic right but all applicants will be considered. The house is situated not too far into Kemp town and when you leave the front door and turn to the right, you can see the beach and it’s a mere 2 min walk. The house is simply spectacular, it’s an old converted Fire station with a massive open plan downstairs with a pool table. Everyone who has lived here, including the current housemates would agree it is a fantastic property and a privilege to live in.

Who are we:

We are ranging in ages from 24- 32 years, all working professionals who have lived in Brighton for 1-3 years.
We love cooking and take it in turns to cook a house meal every couple of weeks. We all enjoying watching films together in the evenings and often have gatherings at the weekends. Our space is really important to us and we all respect each other in the house. It’s top priority that the new housemate fits right in to this. There is a really chilled vibe in the house and we all feel very at home here.

Ideally we are looking for someone who is a professional and settled in life, financially secure and sociable. Has a love for music, preferably works 9-5 in the week so our hours match and we can have gatherings at the weekends without the worry of someone having to be up at 5am. Also, enjoys life and partakes in nights out, festivals, live music and generally knows how to have fun.

Now for the essential information:

- Rent is £350. This is due to the current number of housemates

- Bills roughly come to £100. This includes council tax, heating, Fibre-optic Internet, water etc

- We do a communal shop once a month for essential things we all use, this is usually £10 each.

The interview process will be 2 stage as we want to make sure we chose someone who fits in, so first a viewing and then an evening out has always worked best in the past
