Lovely light double room overlooking Preston Park

Hi,

The room is large - 3.6m x 4.3m, (12’x14’) and furnished with a lovely Warren Evans double bed, 2 bedside tables, small table and 2 chairs, full length mirror and small TV. There are 2 large built in wardrobes and a large window that looks out onto Preston Park. The floor is natural wood. There is plenty of space for more furniture such as a small sofa if you would like to put one in.

The kitchen and bathroom are modern, complete with a ‘rainfall’ power shower in the bathroom and dishwasher, plus all other mod cons, in the kitchen. I should point out that the bathroom is not an en-suite.

One thing I love about my flat is that it's a short walk from Brighton, but situated in a lovely and peaceful Art Deco block, surrounded by trees - Preston Park to the front and a stunning enormous garden at the back. Also, there is a secure lock-up for bikes inside the block.

It’s situated just off the A23 and plenty of on-street parking is available, although you would need to buy a parking permit. It's about a 15 minute stroll to London Road and Preston Park Stations and about 20 mins stroll to Brighton Station and the North Laine. You could easily knock 5 mins off these times if you’re a fast walker.

The photos, by the way, illustrate a little artistic licence from how the front of the block might look in a tropical summer, but genuine pics of the garden, which is just beautiful.

About me: I am sociable and like to go out - live music is one of my favourite things - and/ or I go walking. Although when home I like to live peacefully, where I practice yoga and meditation. Overall, I am a very young-at-heart, easy going 57 year old.

Rent is inclusive of all bills, including council tax, ground rent and wireless Broadband. If bills are increased we would split the increase 50/50, although I do a good job of keeping on top of best deals on the market. Terms are one month's rent in advance, plus security deposit of £300.
