Beautiful Newly Refurbished Victorian Cottage

I have been living here for a year now and during that time I've totally transformed a run-down Victorian end-of-terrace cottage into my much loved home. Now I'm ready to share it with someone else who will enjoy being here as much as I do.

I have opened up the downstairs so now there is a large living area with a bay window looking out over allotments and the fields beyond. I have a comfy corner sofa, an open fire and sky TV. There is a big well-equipped kitchen (with a heated floor) with a table and bi-fold doors looking out over the garden. Also downstairs is a loo and a very useful heated utility room with drying rail.

Upstairs are the three bedrooms; mine (with an en-suite) then the two in this advert with a bathroom between them. The double looks out over the garden and has a wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet and TV point. The single is currently unfurnished but this could be done very quickly.

I have advertised the two rooms separately but they would also work very well as a bedroom and living room/office in which case the bathroom would be solely yours and I would be willing to negotiate the rent.

The house has a fantastic location. It is on a quiet road with bumps and plenty of on-street parking. It is within walking distance of the train station (direct to London) and the bus station with routes to Brighton, Eastbourne, East Grinstead, and Tunbridge Wells. You could also walk to the supermarket but even more conveniently there is a very good local store and post office just around the corner. The icing on the cake is the country feel with the Millennium Green and rec just across the road and an excellent local pub just four doors down! Don't worry, it's not noisy.

I lead a very varied life and like to keep busy. I do some work from home so do not want someone who will be sitting around distracting me all the time. I have a cat who loves his cuddles so you must be prepared to pay him some attention! Other than that I'm very open to anyone who thinks this might be the place for them.
