I have a large double furnished room in my home in Willingdon.
The house is tastefully and recently decorated, open plan contemporary modern kitchen dining with breakfast bar. You have your own and lots of cupboard and drawer storage. Utility room with washing machine, storage cupboards, sink, toilet and hand basin. Side door entrance to garden.
Period features, fireplaces, with a mixture of oak flooring and slate (underfloor heating in kitchen)
Large walk in downstairs shower room (shared, own shelf for bits inside).
Double room available has large window, built in double wardrobes and attached shelving space. Drawers are ample in the 2 chest of drawers. Plenty of sockets. TV point too so freeview tv works fine. Room is carpeted (recently professionally cleaned). With chimney breast and ornamental fireplace. Would only need your own bed (? maybe). Road is very quiet, tree lined, and plenty of parking. Large rear garden with a large patio space and lawned grass area plus huge social area pergola, firepit, outdoor bar and bbq area with plenty of seating and swing seat. Also a large shed if you have a bicycle to store. Polegate station is within easy reach for connections to London, Lewes, Falmer, Brighton or Eastbourne and Hastings. Also easy bus links to town and Heathfield. BT Infinity unlimited Broadband is available. W/machine, dishwasher. Use of large lounge, with BT TV and a second reception room also usable with TV and X-Box set up.
A good sense of humour is required, relaxed laid back personality. Someone who likes to come home to a relaxed atmosphere to wind down after work. Clean and tidy in a nicely looked after home. If you cannot use a hoover, clean up behind yourself, leave areas as you found them, this lovely home is not for you. Privacy is respected and also lone time too if you want it.
I am a newly married dad of 2, 23 yr son, accountant works and lives in Eastbourne and 21 yr old daughter (at Newcastle Uni).
I work within the rail industry in London/WFH for NWRail. Usually spread my time between here in Eastbourne and Twickenham (wife's house).
I am social and like to go to the pub, cinema, walks when occasion/time allows, enjoy live concerts, meals out etc.
Current housemates (2 police ladies) leave end of Aug as moving into own flat near Bexhill.
