A little about us:

My Wife and I have been landlords for 11 years; some past tenants that we never knew before renting to them have become good friends (3 of which were at our wedding).

When looking for our next property we were just like you, just like everyone, we wanted to get something that had as many plus points as possible and hate how difficult it is to get what we see as value for money; this home has it all.

We are not your typical landlords, in it to scrape every penny we can. We have not bought the property on some high risk interest only mortgage. We are in it for the long haul.

We deal with tenants direct, no unreliable faceless agent in the middle and no agent fees.

- Referencing for tenants costs £20 each bill payer.
- Your deposit will be held in government backed independent scheme (Google Search DPS)

Some notes about how things stand now and why we are advertising early:

- We purchased the property 16th Aug and have been doing much needed renovations, this is the sole reason it is not yet available so the next tenant will benefit from it being newly decorated.
- There is unrestricted street parking to the side of the property, however the home does have a huge detached garage (2/3 cars). It is certainly the aim to be made usable however it will not be available for the first few months.
- Similar to the garage situation the house has a covered lean-to on both sides, again these are in need of work so depending on the extent they may remain and be usable. One lean-to is via a side door from the Kitchen and has in the past served as a separate large laundry room.

So why are we advertising it early.

It's a unique home, as mentioned we looked and found a home with so many great benefits. Because it is unique there are no other rentals we can really compare it to. This is why we want to get it out there early; to see what interest there is and perhaps even find the right viable tenant who can have some input into the renovations we are doing prior to them moving in. Also, by getting this out there as soon as possible it may allow for someone who is already renting to give sensible notice to move here.
