Female wanted for our spare room! (Female because whilst I have my own bathroom, the remaining one is shared, and my lovely housey would rather share it with another girl!) The flat is quite simply stunning. It has no waiting list for parking, a palatial living room with French doors and huge ground level sliding sash windows leading to a very sizeable first floor roof terrace looking out over Marine Parade and the two piers.

So what's the catch? Well, the room is small. It has a metal framed double mezzanine (some might say bunk) bed in it - you climb up a little ladder into bed! This leaves room underneath for a chest of drawers and a desk though, and if required, we could replace this with a normal double bed, but you'd only have room for that and a chest of drawers! There's a decent wardrobe that I can donate on the landing, so loads of clothes can be kept in there, but I guess the point is that for your money, you'd have a cosy little room in an absolutely awesome flat (with two awesome housemates, I might add), as opposed to a sizeable room in a bog-standard mid-terrace...

The kitchen and living room are open plan, and the apartment benefits from all modcons, namely: - Washing machine

- 42" TV
- Tall Regency ceilings
- Working open fireplace
- X-Box & Wii
- Spiral staircase with a light up banister (Did I mention the apartment is on two floors?)
- An enormous white leather sofa (you can lie two people end to end, another on the 90' chaise) with matching armchair and footstool
- And of course, the 180' double-aspect sea-view from the ceiling height bay windows/French doors leading out onto the roof terrace, with sunrise and sunset thrown in, which is amazing on warm evenings when we have all the doors and windows open and the barbeque going.

A few words about me - I'm a really easy going laid back guy - I'm clean and tidy and look after myself and am very easy to get on with. I'm not creepy or smelly, and am pretty sure I don't have any annoying habits! Claire is brilliant; she's a speech and language therapist who is wise and genuinely kind. We try to keep in shape (she better than I, actually) and we eat well, and whilst weekdays around the house are quiet and chilled, weekends can sometimes get spontaneously very busy; you may expect fantastic (trustworthy, successful and funloving) friends occasionally descending to enjoy costume parties, barbecues or sunset cocktails. Any big gatherings are run by the house first, so if your mum was coming to stay, she wouldn't have to suffer such late night antics!

So who are we looking for? You HAVE to be easy going, open-minded, relaxed and friendly. It would be awful to have someone move in that was neurotic, grumpy and liable to moodiness and sulks! (I know this sounds obvious, but I think you know if you fall into this catagory, and we wouldn't be the right houseys for you). I know that we're going to see lots of people before we get the right person, but if you're a kindred spirit to us then you won't have a problem.

We're not in desperate need to fill the room, so we can take a little time to find the wonderful housey we're looking for. I also don't mean to sound intimidating, but it's a rare gem of a place to live, and if you don't mind the small room, I know you'll end up having a wonderful home that you'll never want to leave!!! If you're feeling a little shy, then write to us anyway, you just might be the one we're looking for. We can meet up in the local pub for a drinkie, and if we hit it off, we can go from there...
