I'm a 26 year old, male philosophy post grad student. I work part time at a café. My flatmate is moving home asap (she’s got a new job and wants to be nearer her man) and I’m looking to rent her room from August. However, I could compromise with the starting date.
I'm looking for someone who is sociable and laid back.
The flat is at 5 Benvie Road. I'm not to sure about bus routes but you could check it out. I'm keen to hold onto the flat cause it's the nicest flat out of me and all my mates, and it's only £225. There’s a good sized living room and a small kitchen with a small breakfast bar. Both rooms get a lot of light and a nice view through the evening. The kitchen is well organised and a cosy place to chat while cooking.
I haven’t got a TV in the flat right now, I just watch DVDs (I’m really keen on cinema) and read, but you could get a TV set up in the living room if you want. I haven’t got broadband either but that's something I need to get sorted.
The bedroom has a double bed that leaves just enough space for a desk and chair. My flatmate liked the shoe cupboard… does that really deserve a mention?!! I’m fairly clean and tidy… if I don’t say so myself! But I’m not anal about that stuff. I’m generally pretty laid back.
I’m sociable and invite folk round for a meal now and again, this sometimes becomes a bit of drinking session, but as noise rattles through the tenement block there’s rarely much of a party. Before Dundee I was in Berlin teaching English. I’m dying to get back travelling after my masters. While in Dundee, I go to the cinema a fair bit, I go running, play footy once a week and I’ve started climbing recently. I’m into the outdoors (cycling/camping/hill walking etc).
