WANTED: A fun, friendly flatmate wanted to share a fabulous 2 bed Apartment in North London.
Hi, I am looking for someone to share this bed apartment in the new heart of Wembley.
Me:
I'm Charlotte and I am a 25 year old female. I have 2 University degrees and moving to London from Sussex to get my foot in the door for the VFX/CG industry.
I enjoy Horse riding (when I can afford it)reading, film, going out (when I can afford to),TV, exercise, Christopher Eccleston (No not a stalker I just love his work) and the worlds biggest chocoholic after Dawn French.
I enjoy late nights in with a glass of wine and a movie or going out for a meal then cinema as well as socializing. I love watching Doctor Who, True Blood, Family Guy, American Dad, NCIS to name just a few.
I have lived in shared accommodation before and understand the need for privacy and peace. I am very easy going if a bit dumb sometimes. :p
I am looking for someone I can get along with well and visa versa.
The Apartment:
The flat is situated on the 4th floor of a brand new sought after development in central Wembley. As you can tell from the photo's it is beautifully decorated and furnished.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with in built fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, hobs and washing machine. All brand new never been used before and tonnes of cupboard space.
Living room leads out to the balcony over looking the development and Wembley Central station as well as the high street, but surprisingly quite. It's West facing so you will get the sun for most of the day.
All rooms have 2 telephone points and a TV and satellite points.
Your room will be the 2nd bedroom. The room is 13"9 x 9"11, it's big photo's don't do it justice. It has a double bed, wardrobe, bed side table, lamp and chest of drawers so plenty of storage space. You will also be supplied with pillows and duvet.
You even have your own bathroom (I'm in the master with en-suite) and it's huge and beautifully finished. You get a full bath with a over head shower as well as toilet, wash sink and electric towel hanger. Also tonnes of storage space in the in built cabinet. You will be the only one using this for the most part so it will be up to you to keep it clean.
Flat has video phone entry system with 24 hr security and a small airing cupboard. No gas in the apartment so one less bill to worry about. It is on site on an ongoing development, parts of the building is still shut that's how new it is.
The ground & first floors form commercial properties, below us is 2nd and third floors and huge TK MAXX. Got to see it to believe it, I was very surprised when I first saw the apartments and areas and you will be too.
The Area/Amneties:
I'm new to London so I don't know the area very well. Wembley is going under a redevelopment and these apartments are part of it. The apartments are situated in an excellent transport area as well as on the high street with all the shops you need within walking distance incl. Boots, Argos and a Weatherspoons pub (JJ Moon). Wembley stadium, arena and Sunday market are all in a short 10-15 (appx.) min bus ride away. Wembley Central Apartments forms a new shopping district hence the commercial properties on the ground and 1st floors. Right now there is a TK Maxx as mentioned, Iceland, Peacocks and soon a Somerfield as well as more developments coming soon. There is a huge ASDA about 15 mins away by bus depending on traffic.
Transport:
The apartment has EXCELLENT transport & is only a minutes walk away from Wembley Central Station which has the London Overground (20 mins to Euston) and the Bakerloo line (30 mins to Oxford Circus) It is incredibly close. You also have Wembley Park 5 mins up the road which has the Jubilee and Metropolitan Line. You also have a lot of buses right outside as well. The 182, 224, 83 and the 92 all stop directly outside, you can find more on the tfl website. So no excuse for not seeing the place ;)
Landlord:
The landlords are my parents. I will be head tennant in the contract so most things you can just ask me and we will be mostly independent. Hence, why I am looking for someone who is clean and tidy and will look after the place.
YOU:
Ideally Female as it's decorated to suit females but the right gentlemen will be considered. I am not picky just don't leave a Cyberman on the sofa. Must be clean, tidy and house trained, not obsessive clean but be able to know the difference between a dish cloth and a mop. Help me keep the communal areas clean and tidy as well as keeping your room and bathroom clean and every so often give the oven, microwave ect. a clean. Must speak English, have a job and not too noisy. I have no problems with the odd party like at Christmas or birthdays but this is not a party house. Vegetarians and any religious views are welcome but I do cook meat, pork and celebrate Christian holidays like Easter and Christmas, I am not a highly religious person but respect others views and you must respect mine as I will be putting up a Christmas tree and decorations, you are welcome to bring yours for your holidays if you don't share mine but be respectful and flexible. If this is a problem then please don't apply.
Looking for someone who likes on the odd occasion on cooking a meal together or going out every so often to eat/cinema/museum/shopping trip/explore London together.
If you work in TV/Film would be great but not essential, I am looking for any lovely person to share.
Oh and the ability to remove a spider would be handy but not essential.

Utility bills are not covered in the rent. This is a brand new apartment so I can only give you a guideline as to how much bills will be. Prices below are on a per person per month basis.

Sky line rental: £4. 50 + whatever calls you make during the day - This includes free evening and weekend calls as well as up to 20mb internet.

C-Tax: As I live alone I have a discount and have had government help, this will change when you move in to how much I do not know yet but somewhere around the £50 pm mark.
Obviously food and travel are your own costs.
LEGAL:
This is a non-smoking, drug free apartment. If you have a friend who smokes they must do it on the balcony, no exceptions, no smoking inside the building. If any are drugs found you will be asked to leave and contract terminated.
