Room now has brand new bed, desk and wardrobe!

I have a really lovely double room to rent from this weekend 2 minutes walk from Southwark tube and 8 minutes from Waterloo station.

The room is furnished with a desk, chair and double bed. There's lot of storage across one wall and a cupboard and a large window overlooking Westminster.

The really cool things about the flat:
50Mb broadband; it's almost ridiculous how fast it is, it's quite difficult to not get addicted to steaming TV all the time.
A balcony which gets sunlight in the afternoon; mini BBQs have been attempted on it!
Huge TV and extra storage in the living room.
Super close to a really lovely pub
There's an Xbox! Yay!
All the carpets and flooring have just been re-done, so it looks pretty spiffy
Fully furnished, including kitchen equipment
A brand new fridge in the kitchen
Awesome computer/speaker system in the living room for music/chilling
The flat is in a secure block of flats (you need an electronic key to get into the gates) and is on the 6th floor, but there are 2 lifts if stairs aren't your thing.
The view of The Shard is amazing and I have nothing but "wow, you live HERE?" when people come to visit.
There is a central office for the flats, so if you have any parcels delivered and you're not in, they will be stored there so you can pick them up at your leisure.

You'll be sharing with me, a final year medical student at King's College. I'm really easy-going, work pretty much 6am-6pm during the week and have a good storage of terrible jokes should you want some.

I'm ideally looking for another health professional, student or young professional with similar working hours who is easy-going and respectful when it comes to not having every person they've ever known come over to party at 11pm on a Monday.

Southbank is a 10 minute walk away and there's a Tesco and Sainsbury's very close by. Also, if you're into the gym, there's a great one down the road which is £15/month all inclusive.

If you are a young professional, please note you will be responsible for the council tax (£59. 25 per calendar month). If you are a student then there is no council tax to pay as long as you are studying full-time.

There is great parking outside which is about £30/week if you need it.

The location is second to none with Southwark, Borough and Waterloo all within short walking distance. There are always cabs nearby too.

I looked for a long place for somewhere like this; there really aren't any other places this cheap, luckily the landlady doesn't realise how little she's actually charging me for rent!

I am the technical landlord as I pay for the whole flat; all rent/bills are to be paid to me.

Tenancy agreements can be negotiated, I'm ideally looking for someone who will want a lease for 8 months until my contract on the place is up.

The last time I rented this room there was an overwhelming response and demand, it will go very quickly.

Please, ONLY SERIOUS applicants who are looking to move in soon, the rent is non-negotiable. If you could let me know a little bit about you (age/what you do/whether or not you're secretly an evil genius) in a message then that'd be really great!

There is the posibilty that the room may be avialable sooner (within the next 2 weeks).
