Hi, my name is Simon and along with my friend Dan we are looking for someone to move into our rented 4 bedroom house as our current 3rd housemate who has lived with us for 2 years is moving in with his girlfriend.

We have lived here for almost 3 years after deciding that renting single rooms around Cheltenham was extortionate if you wanted a nice place. We found this very nice house which is only recently built and decided to rent the whole place out. Unusually it is fully furnished with very high quality wooden furniture. We were lucky to get this place and snapped it up the moment it came up! There are four bedrooms and a study. We keep the furnished single room spare for guests as we don't want it too crowded. The room you will be looking at is downstairs and has a double bed in it at the moment. We also have a big chest of drawers and a couple of bedside cabinets you can use although you are, of course welcome to use you own furniture.

The kitchen is large with a table and chairs and all appliances including a dishwasher (very handy!). The sitting room has a wide screen tv with freeview and nice leather seating. There is a downstairs toilet and upstairs is a bathroom with a shower over the bath which you would share with Dan as I have an en-suite. The study has a desk and can be used for further storage. Electricity and gas tend to be about £20/month and £50/month for Council Tax each....really cheap! Rent includes broadband internet.

The garden is grass and is a nice size and we have a garage which is great for storing bikes etc. Parking is not be an issue as this development isn’t as compact as most of the new Cheltenham developments. I have never had any trouble parking right outside the house or in the space in front of the garage. The area is really nice and quiet with friendly neighbours and no traffic noise as you are right at the bottom of Cleeve Hill with fields all around but still only a few minutes from town by car or about 30 minutes walk. Please bare this in mind if you are looking for somewhere really close to town as we had many people love the house but not the distance from town last time we looked for a housemate. Personally, I find it a much nicer place to live than the town center. If you are into mountainbiking the location is ideal as I can ride from the house to the top of Cleeve Hill in a few minutes.

I am into Rock Climbing, mountain biking and kayaking and Dan is into golf and badminton so we are quite sporty. If you are into outdoor stuff then we will get on superbly! Overall, we are easygoing, respectful and tidy people looking for the same. We will need a deposit equal to the rent paid and references. Evening and some weekend viewings available.
