Short Let - Lovely Double Room in West Didsbury

Hello all!

Next week I'll be moving to London, so sadly I'll be leaving Manchester and this brilliant house.

My double room is going to to be available on the 13th of April, and I'm looking for a friendly, sociable housemate to take over my tenancy.

The contract runs until June 30th - so this is basically a 2-and-a-half month situation.

Here's a little bit more information:

THE HOUSE:

This is a huge 7-bed end of terrace house. It has a large kitchen with all mod cons, including dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There's a big living room with sofas and a decent TV. There is a downstairs toilet / shower room, and a larger bathroom upstairs.

THE LOCATION:

One of the best things about this place is the location. It's right on Burton Road, within 1 minute of the tram stop, and 2 minutes from the Metropolitan pub.

THE ROOM:

The room is a spacious double, with a desk, a large wardrobe, and two chests of drawers. It's on the top floor, so it's really quiet, and there's a big window looking onto a side street.

THE HOUSEMATES:

There is a really nice atmosphere in this house. We are all young professionals - quiet during the week (although up for a few pints or a pub quiz), and up for doing something a bit more lively on a weekend. Everyone is really respectful of the house and each other, and we all get along nicely.

FINANCIAL STUFF:

As mentioned above, there is 3 months remaining on my tenancy agreement, and the room will be available from April 13th to June 30th. After that you can either move on, or seek to renew the contract with the landlord.

The rent is £400 per month, and this includes absolutely everything. The first half-month (April 13th - 28th) will be £200, which you would pay upon moving in. After that the rent is payable on the 1st of every month.

There is also a £400 security deposit, and a £99 fee for financial checks and referencing.
