Large Double Room (Mon-Fri) near station

We’re a professional couple who let out our spacious spare room, which comes with its own bathroom. We‘re looking for tidy, strictly non-smoking professional who needs a place to stay during weekdays only - Sunday evening to Friday morning is fine.

We live in a 3 bedroom semi-detached townhouse, newly built in 2017. It’s situated in a quiet cul-de-sac within walking distance of Reading town centre and train station, and a bus stop for the main bus to the station and town at the top of the road. There is unrestricted on-street parking available. We also have a back garden where you can keep a bicycle if you wanted to bring one. We also have fibre-optic broadband.
You'll have use of the shared living spaces, including a comfy front lounge and large kitchen-diner. The landscaped garden offers lovely a additional space in summer.

Your double room is generously sized, with a large window with blackout curtains and a built-in wardrobe. The room is furnished with a double bed, bedside tables and chair. The room is tucked away on the top floor of the house and has a luxury bathroom next door with shower over bath, sink and toilet. The only other room on the top floor is our single spare room which we rarely use, so you’ll have a lot of privacy.

We’re very happy to provide bedding and towels, but you are of course welcome to use your own if you prefer.

We have a very well-equipped kitchen, with lots of crockery, pans and so on, so you really don't need to bring anything except yourself and your clothes, etc.

We ask for the equivalent of a month's rent to be put down as a security deposit upfront, and for each month's rent to be paid in advance.

One note - we have two young and inquisitive cats, so you must be ok with pets!
