I’m offering a furnished (or unfurnished if you prefer) double room in a quiet neighbourhood in Romsey. The room comes with a double bed, wardrobe with drawers, 2 x chest of drawers and shelves. You’ll have shared use of most of the facilities including; large kitchen-diner, recently refurbished bathroom, lounge and gardens etc and Wi-Fi is included. The house is in a cul-de-sac so there’s no noise from through traffic and there's plenty of parking. It's close to a park and near enough to the countryside if you like the outdoors. There’s also easy access to bus and rail with excellent links to Southampton, Winchester and Salisbury. The nearest bus stop is just a 2 min walk and the train station is a 10 min away. There are local shops within a 5 min walk and Romsey town centre, which caters for most things, is a only a 15 mins.
I'm a 38 year old professional working in Southampton. I’m pretty laid back and easy-going. I like to run and cycle, I go to the gym and play squash. I also like to cook and bake, read and watch movies. I've had a number of successful lodgers over the last 10 years so this is nothing new to me.
I'm looking for a professional person (or couple) aged 21-40, who is responsible, respectful, clean and tidy. I’m looking to rent for a minimum of 6 months but ideally longer. Rent, including all bills except the home phone, is £450 (£600 for a couple). Rent is payable at the beginning of each month and I require a £400 security deposit. References would be preferable.
