Small room in a homely, friendly house

Room available in very homely house which I’ve rented from a friend of mine for more than 7 years. It's a peaceful, creative and welcoming space. I’m also a tenant so the whole house is as much your home as mine!

I'm 32, a writer, a lover of all things arty and the outdoors. I have an extremely affectionate cat and three chickens, so there’s a supply of fresh eggs!

I work from home a lot even in non-Covid times, so a friendly housemate who’s up for a cup of tea, a chat, a shared dinner or a bit of tv would be very welcome company. I often spend weekends in London with my boyfriend, or he’ll spend weekends with me, so there will sometimes be a third person in the house.

The bedroom which is available has a bed, a built-in cupboard and a chest of drawers. There's also plenty of storage space elsewhere in the house, including a garage.

Bills (gas and electric, water, internet, TV license) average about £80/month, though they aren't all paid monthly.

Because of the arrangement I have with the landlord you’ll need to be happy to pay council tax (it’s included in the price of rent as listed).
