We're looking for a quiet, friendly housemate from 1st December with the contract running until the end of June 2019. The room is at the rear of the house on the ground floor and is fully furnished. The rent given is an estimate including bills, and including council tax which you won't have to pay if you're a student (rent is £255, bills are currently £40 a month plus £70 a quarter excluding council tax). The fees for checks and the contract are £65. The house is fully double glazed and central heated, and has a communal dining/living room (pictured), fully outfitted kitchen (pictured), 2 showers (with baths) downstairs, one with toilet, plus a toilet upstairs. There's a garden/patio area behind the house with a shelter which is good for smoking as there's no smoking in the house, and also room for bike storage. The house is about a 30 minute walk from town and Southampton Central, 30 minutes in the other direction to Highfield (University of Southampton), 10 minutes to St Denys train station, 20 minutes to Sainsburies, less than that to Waitrose, and less than 5 minutes to Aldi and a small Tesco. Also quite near the common, or the Hobbit and all that.
