The cottage is full of character, thatched, has a lovely garden. The room is upstairs, carpeted with curtains, and has plenty of hanging space. A chest of drawers and a double bed will be provided, and also a TV aerial point.
The village has a pub which serves food, village shop with post office, petrol station & doctor's surgery. The village is surrounded by open countryside so plenty of walks/running/cycling routes. The village is about 7 miles north of Winchester, close to the A34, A303 & A30 so within easy reach of Winchester/Andover/ Basingstoke and about 30 mins from Southampton.
Nearest train station is Micheldever Station 5 miles away (London Waterloo 55 mins) plus there is a limited bus service run by stagecoachbus.
